Do Weber Grills Have A Lasting Quality

By Kelly Smiley

Grilling has always been a passion to me, I suppose that's true for lots of men. I remember my dad with one of those old Weber grills, grilling steaks in the middle of January. It's a primitive urge to fire up the Weber and grill some meat. You can almost see yourself in animal skins around a huge fire roasting a Mastodon leg.

Your male nirvana can start small, you can get on of those little Weber grills that fit on the smallest patio and be grilling in no time. Sure you are limited to a few burgers at a time, but that just serves to give you more time with your grill.

Grilling is part science, part art and if you want to achieve the male bliss of the solitary grilling session, what you produce has to worthy of the wait. If you are delivering uninspired burgers and blackened chicken it won't be long before your significant other seeks to help you with the grilling and then your blissfully lazy summer afternoons will disappear.

You might start out on one the little Weber grills that's big enough for one or maybe two people, but being a man you soon need a bigger grill. You may opt for the big tripod kettle that cook dozens of burgers at once, or maybe a whole turkey.

Naturally with a grill like that you need to up your game and you tentatively start looking at recipes that require actual kitchen time. You start to discover sauces and marinades and then side dishes that don't need your Weber at all.

You may be asking yourself whether you should go with charcoal or gas when going after your grill. Charcoal will certainly extend your alone time as you must wait for the coals to achieve just the right temperature. On the other hand, gas will give you more grilling sessions as it is ready so quickly and is so easy to clean. Another option is both Weber grills, the charcoal kettle and the gas model.

Now of course you are a grill-master and not only that, you can cook other things as well. Though you still love your Weber, you can also braise on a stove top or broil in the oven. You can make sauces and sides and casseroles and just about anything else.

With a little foresight and planning you can have those blissful summer afternoons of grilling happiness. All it takes is the right equipment, a few secret recipes and a very understanding significant other. - 32174
